Throughout his long housing career Steve has always been committed to meaningful tenant engagement and involvement. Starting with tenant consultation at Joseph Rowntree Memorial Housing Trust, and inner city priority estates engagement in Sheffield, Steve moved on to develop tenant involvement at Ross and Cromarty DC in the highlands of Scotland, before returning to Wales to develop tenant involvement strategies at Ynys Mon County Council, Clwyd Alyn HA, and Tai Ceredigion lsvt / Barcud Housing Group.
Steve has regularly spoken at tenant conferences, forums, and national tenant conferences. His work with the Tai Ceredigion Tenant Monitoring Group was recognised at the TPAS awards 2022.
